Best Of The Noughties DJ Charts (Part 2)

Magda

Magda usually gets confused with THE Magda, as in Richie Hawtin's protege, she of Minus Records.

But we know her as one of Spank's favourite DJs and who gave us some of our most beloved mixed CDs of last year. She is a regular at all the Ha Ha parties and put on her own regular monthly night at the Dug Out Bar last year called Speakeasy, where she spun her fave tunes devoid of genre or dancefloor.

These are her favourite tracks of the Noughties (2000-2009).

1. Luomo 'Tessio' (Force Tracks)

2. Herbert 'The Audience' (K7)

3. Metro Area 'Miura' (Environ)

4. Moloko 'Forever More' (FKEK Vocal mix) (Echo Records)

5. Rhythm & Sound feat. Paul St Hiliare 'Jah Rule' (Burial)

6. Carl Craig 'Sandstorms' (Planet E)

7. Alton Miller 'Clouds Are Gone' (Henrik Schwarz remix) (Deeper Soul)

8. Burial 'Distant Lights' (Hyperdub)

9. Hercules & Love Affair 'Blind' (DFA Records)

10. Aril Brikha 'Berghain' (Kompakt)

More to come.

Murphy.
